Joyce Stockham is a seasoned veteran when it comes to helping individuals and families. After 15 years providing direct employment and training services to limited income individuals and families, it was a natural move to leadership and program design and development. Joyce is a Certified Community Action Professional, and works closely with state and local organizations to address and eliminate poverty across Kansas focusing primarily in South Central Kansas.
Community Services Coordinators:
Crystal Martin comes to the agency with a Bachelor's of Art degree in communication. She brings previous social services experience through her word at The Salvation Army Cowley County as the County Coordinator. Crystal, is actively involved in her community. Her passion is participating in helping others realize their life goals and self-sustaining lifestyle. "I believe a little bit of focus and redirection, can and will create success, and I am looking for great success stories."
Kay Patteson brings twelve years' experience in the housing industry. She has successfully managed Senior Tax Credit Property and Multi Family Tax Credit Property. Additionally, she has expertise in working with Section 8 Housing Programs. Her certifications Housing Qualities Standards (HQS), Tax Credit specialist and Accredited Residential Management. Kay is dedicated to providing safe and affordable housed. Her passion is helping Low income individuals and families find a unit they can call home.
Kristina Young is a Master’s level licensed Social Worker and brings with her 18 years experience in the social service arena. Kristina has been a trainer in a diverse number of topics such as parenting, child and parent reintegration and various self help topics. She strives to assist customers in setting and achieving goals. She loves being able to celebrate and appreciate the differences between rural and city atmospheres.
Nicole Anderson is a recent graduate of Wichita State University, where she obtained her Bachelors in Social Work. Nicole brings with her education and knowledge a passion for helping others. Nicole is anxious to provide resources and help individuals and families to set and achieve goals in order for individuals to succeed in fulfilling their potential. She understand there are obstacles and difficulties but with dedication and time, it can be done!
Shirlene Jacobs has been in the Social Services and Community Services field for 15 years. A field educated professional, has worked closely with Department of Children and Families, Mental Health and Law Enforcement. Shirlene volunteers with local children's organizations, is dedicated to helping individuals and families realize the importance of giving back to the community, and continues to study how communication impacts life.
